These terms apply when you visit lisbon.money or join the early access waitlist. They're short because there's not much to agree to yet. When the app launches, it will have its own terms, which you'll need to accept before opening an account.
About these terms
lisbon.money is run by UAB Bohemian Technologies, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Lithuania. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Bohemian Technologies, and "you" means anyone using the website.
By using the website or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
The waitlist
- Joining is free. You must be 18 or older and give an email address you own.
- Your number, for example #14683, shows your place in line. We plan to invite people in that order, but we may invite some groups earlier, such as people in a country where we launch first.
- One place per person. Signing up again with the same email gives you the same code.
- You get a personal invite link. Each friend who joins with it moves you up 10 places. Because others can move up too, your place can also move down.
- Referrals only count for real people joining for themselves. We don't count, and may remove, signups that are fake, duplicated or created by you, and we may reset the place of anyone gaming the list.
- We don't pay for referrals. Moving up the list is the only reward.
- We may remove entries that look automated, fake or duplicated, or that break these terms.
- Your code has no cash value and can't be sold or transferred.
- A place on the waitlist doesn't guarantee that you'll get access, or that the product will launch in your country.
The product isn't available yet
lisbon.money is in development. Everything this website says about the product, including features, supported countries, payment networks, blockchains, assets such as CC, cBTC and cETH, virtual IBANs, speeds and fees, describes what we're building. It may change before launch.
Nothing on this website is an offer of financial, payment or investment services, or investment advice. When we launch, the app will be available only to people who are eligible in their country and who complete any identity checks that the law or our partners require. Card, IBAN and local payment services will be provided by licensed partners. Read our risk disclosure to understand the risks of stablecoins and self-custody wallets.
Using the website
You agree not to:
- sign up using bots, scripts or other people's email addresses
- try to manipulate the waitlist order
- scrape, overload or interfere with the website or its security
- use the website for anything unlawful or misleading

Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the waitlist. Because the website and waitlist are free, our total liability to you under these terms is limited to EUR 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
Changes and ending access
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll email people on the waitlist. We may close the waitlist or suspend access to the website at any time. You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing danny@lisbon.money.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Vilnius. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.
