We collect as little as we can. On this website, that means your email address and nothing else that identifies you. This policy explains what we do with it, in plain language.
Who we are
lisbon.money is a product of UAB Bohemian Technologies, a private limited company registered in the Republic of Lithuania. We decide how and why your personal data is used, so under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we are the "controller" of your data.

What this policy covers
This policy covers the lisbon.money website and the early access waitlist. When the lisbon.money app launches, it will come with its own privacy policy explaining how account, identity, IBAN and payment data are handled. We'll ask you to read it before you create an account.

We don't use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics that identify you. The site loads its font from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
How we use it
- To run the waitlist. We give you a number and an invite link, keep your place, credit referrals, and invite people in order. We never show your email to the friends you invite or to the person who invited you.
- To email you about early access. This means updates on launch timing and your invite.
- To prevent abuse. We use technical logs to stop bots and repeated fake signups.
We email you based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by writing to us. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before. We keep technical logs based on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f)).
We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
We share your data only with service providers that help us run the waitlist. They may use it only to provide their service to us, under data processing agreements that require them to keep it confidential and secure.
- Vercel Inc. hosts the website.
- Upstash Inc. stores the waitlist database.
- Our email delivery provider sends early access emails. We'll tell you which provider we use if you ask.
We'll also disclose data if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid order from a court or public authority. If Bohemian Technologies is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer to the new owner, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
Where it's stored
Some of our service providers are based in the United States. When your data leaves the European Economic Area, it's protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and waitlist details until early access opens for you and you've had a chance to sign up, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you don't sign up within 12 months of your invite, we delete your details. Technical logs are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct data that's wrong or incomplete
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent to emails at any time
To use any of these rights, email danny@lisbon.money from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania, or to the data protection authority where you live or work.
How we protect it
The site is served over HTTPS only. The waitlist database is encrypted at rest and accessible only to the people who need it to run the waitlist. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your data at risk, we'll tell you and the authorities as the GDPR requires.
Children
lisbon.money is for adults. Don't join the waitlist if you're under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has signed up, we'll delete their details.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your email, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
